Since June 11th 2018 the Google Maps platform have made a massive update, you’ll need an API key for google maps to display and be fully functional on your website; this is how you get your key.
First go to Google iCloud and click get started.
Select all options:
You will then be asked to create a new project title.
From there you will then need to set up your billing account.
Once you have set up your billing account your API key will be created.
